Hello everyone! Today I am going to be telling you 5 things you should do when baking.
Number 1: Turn the timer on – You really don’t want to forget to put your timer on when you have whatever you are baking is in the oven. If you do you might forget that it is in the oven and burn it.
Number 2: Don’t leave when you are baking – when you are baking the last thing you want to do is leave. If you leave when you are still mixing your ingredients then when you come back you might forget what you put in before you left and then put that in again, and if you leave when what you are baking is in the oven then if you forgot to turn on the timer you might burn whatever is in the oven.
Number 3: Measure your ingredient exactly – You should measure your ingredients exactly or your baking might be to watery, dry, or lumpy. how you measure things exactly when baking is this, if you are measuring dry ingredients you should fill up your measuring cup until it is piled up on top, then you take a butter knife and scrape it over the top so that the top is level and exactly at the top of the measuring cup.
Number 4: Don’t make a mess of the kitchen – If you finish baking and leave the kitchen in a mess your mom might never let you in the kitchen again. So just cleanup as you go, wipe the counter, put the ingredients away as soon as you are done with them, put the dishes in the dishwasher or wash them by hand, and put everything away. That way you will have a happy mom and a clean kitchen. 😉
Number 5: Make lots of things so that you siblings and parents can eat them – one thing that I have learned is that I have to bake lots of things for my siblings and parents. I have four sibling two older ones and two younger ones, so I have to bake lots of stuff to keep them happy. 😉
Thanks for checking out my blog!
Just remember, if I can bake, so can you!:)
